Today, the German network information centre DENIC displays information about upcoming maintenance on their website:
Die Member- und Public-Whoisse sind verfügbar.
They tried to construct a German plural from the English word whois. In my opinion they failed miserably. Denglisch at it’s best. I’d like to know what the Duden says about it. But I don’t have a recent edition at hand.
