Blackout

We’re suffering from a power outage since Friday night. In an effort to get rid of an interim solution, I wanted to install a new LAN box in my room. Unfortunately, I hit a power supply line while drilling the holes for the box. Normally, you would expect to be without power in that same room or maybe on the same floor. But we are living in an old house. It’s not like one would expect. In each room, there is at least one outlet that works. But there are also outlets that don’t work in every room of the house. On all floors. Additionally, our electric shutter system is down. We’re waiting for the electrician to fix things up. In the meantime we use a lot of extension cable to keep some basic systems working.
