    Awesome. How did you manage that? Not starting the service on demand any more but keeping in running all the time? And what about SSL/TLS?

    The new FTP server software has much better performance. That’s the trick. No need to change from inetd to standalone mode.

    Regarding SSL/TLS: It will be back at some time. There are some serious issues with current implementations at the moment regarding routers and firewalls and all that stuff.
