I’ve now put up the slides and the paper from my talk Open Source – Freie Software als Alternative zu proprietären Entwicklungsmethoden, that I held on Monday at Fachbereich Informatik. Feel free to send in feedback and questions or post away in the comments.
Shameless plug: If this post was useful to you, please consider buying yourself something from one of my Amazon stores: US store, UK store, FR store, DE store, CA store. If you're not into Amazon, why not donate something to GNOME, Mozilla or Wikipedia? Thank you!

Excelent work, nothing more to be said!
Looking at these PDF’s makes me really thinking of my own future. When such mass of work has to be done in the second month of studying, I really have to ask myself if I should better do a handcrafter apprenticeship or something like that instead of of studying…
Wow. That was a fast one. Only minutes after I posted…. You’re a fast reader, I must confess. Anyway, thanks for the nice words. I appreciate your feedback. As to your future, you’re the only one that can decide such important things, I guess.

This is surely great. Well …maybe I’m not as fast as Timo with reading – but time is not important, life is im portant. What we make out of our life’s is not only in our hands. Our environment is a great factor in such things, just like it is to open source (isn’t it?). I mean, we’re all a bit open source, cause if we decide to decover our “sourcecode” to someone else (that could be friends, wifes, dogs, cats..almost every creature) we give him the possibility to influence it. So think about my word when your next decision is pending and think about your life (not the time).
